Teddy bear zipwire at Hatton Church Raises over £230 for a great cause!

On Saturday 9th November 2024 the community came together for a unique and heartwarming fundraiser - the Teddy bear zipwire at Hatton Church. Supporters of all ages brought their favourite teddy bears to take a thrilling zipwire down the church tower, all in the name of charity.

The event was a fantastic success, raising an impressive £233.80 to support the vital work of Friends of Ferncumbe. Families and individuals gathered to watch their cuddly companions make the daring descent, cheering them on as they bravely took the plunge.

A fun and engaging way to fundraise

The Teddy bear zipwire wasn’t just about raising money - it was about bringing the community together in a fun and engaging way. Children and adults alike were thrilled to see their teddies safely harnessed and lowered down the historic church tower, with plenty of smiles and laughter along the way.  Events like these show the power of community spirit.
