The playground project

Our objective is to provide an inclusive and engaging space for the children and give them greater choice at break times and also support teachers to hold learning sessions outside of the class room.

The challenge

We would like to add additional play apparatus and utilise the pockets of vacant space within the playground. We have engaged with the pupils at Ferncumbe and there is a desire to have more choice and apparatus that supports learning through imaginative play, physical activity and health and wellbeing.
