The playground project

We would like to say a massive thank you for all your donations and efforts to help us achieve our goal! Work on our new playground began September 2025 and we are so excited to share the progress we make along the way.

The challenge

We would like to add additional play apparatus and utilise the pockets of vacant space within the playground. We have engaged with the pupils at Ferncumbe and there is a desire to have more choice and apparatus that supports learning through imaginative play, physical activity and health and wellbeing.
